Jason Streetz

My Wife, Carole

Carole is my mindmate, my soulmate and my best friend.

We are so different, and yet still we share those few things that are important to have in common.

I'm nearly certain I would have wound up dead somewhere if it weren't for her help, encouragement, and support.

From the very moment I met her, I knew there was something "different" about her. A perfect combination of mental spark and personal sparkle!

She became a Streetz!

On January 8th of 2000, Carole became a Streetz as she and I were married in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

It seems many feel that a relationship changes after marriage. I can happily say that in our case, nothing much changed at all, at least not for the worse. Carole and I have always had just the proper amount of similarity mixed with an intriguing amount of difference.

Although not born a Streetz, Carole certainly matches the necessary critieria for Streetz-ness, while adding a whole new dimension of her own!

Personality Match

As stated by David Keirsey, noted author of Please Understand Me II, Carole and I are quite likely to share a unique bond based on our personality types (similar to Myers-Briggs personality tests):

Architects(INTP) and Teachers(ENFJ) are apt to share a rare compatibility. The reserved and probing Architects, all-too-easily lost in their abstract designs and desire for coherence, can despair of ever finding a mate who will listen to them and appreciate their visions. Fortunately, the expressive and schedule-minded Teachers, brimming with ideas in their own right, are catalysts of the personal growth process in others, able to bring out the best in others with inspiring personal enthusiasm. All the Idealists seem to have this facilitative capability in some degree, but Teachers seem to have it in abundance -- and Architects find this combination of intellectual spark and personal sparkle quite irresistable.
